1. **Origins** — choose **Ancestry** (grants 1-2 **Talents**) + **Culture** (grants 2 **Expertises**) + Name
2. **Starting Path** — choose **Heroic Path** (grants **Starting Skill** and **Key Talent**)
3. **Attributes** — allocate 12pts to **Attributes** (max score: 3), then calculate **Lifting Capacity** / **Movement Rate** / **Recovery Die** / **Senses Range**
4. **Skills and Expertises** — allocate 1 rank to Starting Skill (from Heroic Path) and 4 ranks to any of 18 skills (max ranks: 2)
