Most nations on Roshar use spheres as their primary currency.
Chips = a small sliver of a gem
Marks = half-carat gem
Broams = two-carat gem
each is worth a different amount depending on which type of gem it is. Spheres can be made of diamond, garnet, heliodor, topaz, ruby, smokestone, zircon, amethyst, sapphire or emerald. These gems values depend on how useful they are in Soulcasting — diamonds are the cheapest, whereas emeralds are used to Soulcast food, making them immensely valuable
