## Setup
To control GNOME Shell extensions using the Extensions website, you must install GNOME Shell integration that consists of two parts:
- browser extension ( [Firefox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/gnome-shell-integration/) | [Chrome](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gnome-shell-integration/gphhapmejobijbbhgpjhcjognlahblep) )
- native host messaging application (`apt install gnome-browser-connector`) (formerly `chrome-gnome-shell` before Ubuntu 23.04+)
Extensions are installed into:
```
~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/
```
Extensions are also controllable via the CLI:
```
$ gnome-extensions
```
